We make sure all our new patients feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. A big part of this is making sure that the patient is fully informed of his/her dental conditions. During your first visit, Dr. Williams will review your dental and medical history. For diagnosis, he will examine your teeth and take X-rays of your mouth. He may elect to take high resolution photos of your teeth with a regular camera. From there, Dr. Williams will explain any issues and help you choose options for treatment. If time allows, we typically begin treatment or your cleaning immediately following your exam.

On your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the new patient forms. 


What does an exam cost?

A comprehensive new patient exam, regular cleaning, and full set of x-rays costs $150 without insurance. If you have insurance, even out of network, this appointment will likely be covered at 100% or close to it. We are typically able to proceed with the cleaning immediately following the exam, if there are no extenuating circumstances. 

If you would like to (and we are able to) proceed with treatment immediately following your comprehensive exam, the exam and x-rays still costs $150, and we will schedule you to come back for your cleaning. This later cleaning will be considered already paid for. 

If you are not interested in a comprehensive exam, but instead would like to focus only on a single issue, the exam and x-ray costs around $80. If you elect to proceed with Dr. Williams' recommended treatment at that time, then the exam fee is waived. If we are not able to complete the treatment at that time due to scheduling issues, then the $80 is still due at that time, but we will credit you for the exam when you return for treatment.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept nearly every PPO insurance plan. We do not accept Medicaid. 

For your convenience, we are "In Network" with:

  • Humana
  • Metlife
  • Cigna
  • Delta Dental

For all other insurance plans, we will file your claim for you to help maximize your insurance dollar. This means that your insurance company will still pay as usual, but that you will be responsible for any additional costs, if there are any. 



Do you offer payment plans?

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash
  • Credit card 
  • Android and Apple Pay
  • Check

If you need treatment now, but need to spread out the payments, we offer two ways to do so. 

  • 4 month payment plan: leave postdated checks or a credit card on file, and we'll automatically deduct payments over time. 
  • CareCredit: Spread out your payments over up to 12 months, interest free. Get the care you need now, and pay as you can over time.  Learn More about CareCredit
